Questions people ask me

Is FoKy actually free?

Yes. Your own decks, timed sprints, App Lock during a sprint, reveals and the whole Collection are free and stay free. The plans add control on top, not the loop.

How does the app blocking work?

Every sprint runs App Lock with your chosen profile, free. It uses Apple’s Screen Time restrictions, so a determined person can get around it. What it reliably does is put a wall between an idle thumb and the app that eats your evening. focus+ adds schedules, several profiles, allowlists and Strict behaviour.

Can I use my own flashcards?

That is the point. Write decks for your own courses and review them inside a sprint, where reviews count toward reveal progress. If typing out a hundred cards is what stops you, FoKy Pro drafts them from a topic, your notes or PDF pages, and you edit before saving.

Do I have to use the AI features?

No. They are optional and adult-only. The whole loop works without them, and under 18 they are not available at all.

What happens if I cancel a plan?

Nothing you earned disappears. Your Collection stays yours, your buddy stays on Home, and your saved settings are kept. The paid surfaces just stop applying. Cancel in your Apple account settings.
